The Core of the Mk3 "BOIS RIG" is designed to grant the user magazine and general purpose space, leaving no sacrifices in decision. A center 12" insert field allows the user to change between a quad 5.56 insert and a triple 7.62 insert, or a various mix and match based on user preference. Stitched directly in front of the center insert field are two GP pouches; a 4" x 5" x 2.5" small and 8" x 5" x 2.5" medium split design incorporates medical, admin, and wayfinding solutions to the forefront of the rig for easy access. Beneath the medium GP space are two 1/4" grommets with included shock-cord tensioners to retain a CAT7 or similar tourniquet. A small MAP pouch is kept close to body, as well as rear-side hardsewn elastic partitions to carry even more critical items. There are four 3.75" partitions and four 2" partitions to carry anything that fits.

The twin wing insert fields allow the user to mix and match dual 5.56 inserts and combo 7.62/pistol inserts to carry a variety of items critical to their own mission- from radios to multitools, our included inserts are designed to be multipurpose and beneficial to the end user experience. Each wing also boasts an adjustable height large GP pouch, capable of expanding from 4.5" to 9" in height (max volume of 6" x 9" x 3" per wing) using external shock-cord adjustments. 

The entire Mk3 Core boasts a total carrying capacity exceeding 474 Cubic Inches (or 7.77 Liters), with additional "flat" storage in three MAP compartments, and four front-pouch zipper pockets. The Mk3 Core is compatible with aftermarket 1" ITW Nexus Harness Systems, but we include our 1" Padded Yoke Harness and 1" Lower Backstrap kit as a turnkey solution, offering a percieved 60% percieved weight reduction. This padded yoke harness also allows the user to adjust their carrying solution, utilizing the Mk3 Core as a traditional chest rig or as a lower abdomen/belt system if they desire.
