Designed for the four-season avid outdoorsman, the "Joey" GP + Handwarmer (GPH) pouch is designed to help your hands stay warm and carry items normally found in a dangler or Fanny system.

Featuring a 6" x 8" x 2.5" main general purpose compartment, with a 6" x 8" front admin pocket, the GPH also has two #0 (1/4" ID) eyelets below the main compartment to shock-cord tournaquets for quick deployment, utilizing our Shock Cord Hanger Kits (found HERE).

The GPH really shines when you look at the handwarmer sleeve system. Each cinch cuff has tacked shock cord with a cordlock to keep wind and snow out, adjustable to your wrist or glove/mitten size. The fleece-lined interior is wrapped with 500D cordura to help prevent moisture from collecting in the middle of the handwarmer.

A feature we worked hard to include is a disposable handwarmer pocket that wraps behind and under the handwarmer sleeve, allowing you to use disposable handwarmers (ex. hothands), or catalytic handwarmers (ex. zippo or jon-e gi handwarmers) to direct heat up into the handwarmer sleeve.

To stay as multi-purpose as possible, the decision to include two mounting solutions was integrated directly into the rear flap. Users can choose to mount the GPH as a traditional dangler using hook and loop (loop facing away from body), or by utilizing the Fanny Adaptor Kit (FAK) (not included, buy HERE) to wear as a fanny system. When being used as a dangler, there are two contact points to attach carabiners behind the flap.

To prevent the handwarmer warming pocket from zipping open while being used in the fanny configuration (as the fanny pack tends to slide around on your person), the velcro flap used for mounting as a hanger COVERS the zipper. This means that when the user wants to change the disposable handwarmers in this pocket, the flap must be opened via velcro. For hunters or users where silence is necessary, we recommend keeping replacement disposable handwarmers in the main GP compartment, and using them INSIDE the handwarmer sleeve as opposed to the rear zipper compartment.
