Part of the Gen2 Lineup, the A42 MSP lineup of pouches is more than general-purpose; the A42 MSP lineup is ALL-PURPOSE. This is the Maritime version of the A42 Small, which replaces the bottom panel of the A42 with OMEGA Mesh for quick-draining applications necessary for maritime use.

Developed in conjunction with activce members of Maritime Law Enforcement and Counter-Terrorism teams.

Our Modular Sustainment Pouch (MSP) was initially designed to add general-purpose space to the waistline of popular pack systems. This would allow the end user access to items they would need periodically during their movements, without stopping and taking their pack off. Complimented with the ability to carry different ammunition loads behind the general-purpose compartments elevated this idea to become an all-purpose solution in our Gen2 lineup.

Methods of attachment:

The A42 is designed to fit a variety of mounting solutions. The Gen2 now features a laser-cut laminate MOLLE panel, to mount traditionally to MOLLE fields. In addition, this new panel also allows the user to mount directly to belt systems up to 2 inches in width.

Dimensions:

The A42 lineup consists of four sizes to fit a variety of storage needs. This particular pouch (SMALL) has a 4.5” x 6” x 3” main compartment with mesh bottom panel. For reference, the main compartment of this pouch can fit a PVS-14 & J-ARM, with room to spare. An additional front-zipper admin compartment can take items up to 3.5” x 5” wide, like notecards, small rite in the rain books, or other admin items.

The rear insert field is 4.5” x 5” x 1”, and can take the following Shepherd Associated Elastic Inserts:

• 5.56 Combo (1x 5.56, 1x Pistol)

• Dual Pistol (2x Pistol)

• Single 5.56 (1x 5.56)

This particular pouch can also take any aftermarket insert up to 4.5” wide, and store items up to 1” thick. The insert field is loop-loop (fuzzy on both sides), so inserts must have hook on both sides to properly mount.
